New Years Eve Eve

We had the most fun last night seeing Trombone Shorty at Rams Head Live. The band was wonderful, funny and so entertaining. We are marching our way into 2011 and are enjoying our health finally. Katiecakes organized a pre-show happy hour at One Eyed Mike's. What a fun bar! They boast being the first Grand Marnier Club in the country. The restaurant in the back was so tiny and had white tablecloths. I want to head back for brunch one Sunday to try the tempting menu.

We are heading to Woodberry Kitchen for our third NYE celebration in a row for an early dinner and to pick up our "Yes We Canned" tee shirts. We have had a great year filled with wonderful visits from the best of friends, a wedding of a best friend and are grateful for employment during these scary times. I can't believe I celebrated my 20th high school reunion in Kalamazoo this summer and enjoyed getting to see my oldest and dearest friends. Andrew's birth is a joy beyond measure and having our family all together for Thanksgiving and Christmas filled our hearts to the brim. Wishing you all a blessed New Year.
